To launch Netflix's Glass Onion in Los Angeles, we engineered a high-stakes, multi-room immersive murder mystery puzzle experience driven by an adaptive, branching narrative. I directed the technical design and hardware integration across the entire maze layout. My team built a custom-fabricated kaleidoscopic tunnel entry that opened into a maze of automated challenge rooms, including a touch-activated sliding matrix puzzle table and synchronized light-up memory sculptures. I helped architect the underlying master state-machine logic that tracked team performance in real time; failing players were programmatically 'banished' to a hidden corridor, activating a two-way mirror control panel that allowed them to interact with or disrupt the remaining players. The experience concluded with an interactive dining room climax where dynamic lighting arrays revealed hidden clues in wall paintings, table settings, and decorations, leading to the reveal of the murderer through a custom-designed mechanical iris that opened to unveil a spinning glass onion.
